Okay, IN MY OPINION, but it’s cute and it’s the free game today. Actually, I really did like Bunny Bye-Bye and it deserves a break from my sardonic quips. This is a 2D pixel-art platformer about a little alien named “bobe” who needs to clean dust bunnies around a space station using a vacuum called a clean0tron.
I can’t promise I have a ton to say about this game, but it’s a neat solo jam that contained enough variety in the description that I spent the morning trying it out.
I’m not sure what the limits need to be on what I post are not post these days, but if it’s somebody’s project they worked on and used their skill to create, it’s worthy is it?
I don’t know. If you have a game like this and think I should try it, you might be surprised how quickly I would jump at the opportunity.
That said, I have this particular game for free on my own, so let’s take a look.
Bunny Bye-Bye Gameplay
Solve space-oriented puzzles to navigate your way through the cozy mechanical environment and progress through the game. The vacuum has space for one item at a time, so you’ll have to figure out what order to vacuum and relocate blocks so that you can complete each level.
The puzzles are challenging enough to keep things interesting, but you’ll most likely find the gameplay light and pleasant.
I suppose I should mention the graphics too, just for completion. I really enjoy this kind of simplistic pixel art level for solo dev games. I occasionally take a moment to work on some random concept on Aseprite myself and love seeing techniques I recognize.
Anyway, that’s pretty much it for this one, link below.
Yep, it’s me, Mr. Dave Pizza. If you like this game you’ll probably like my other recommendations even more. Dive deep into the land where a mentality and games co-exist… or something.
