BROK the InvestiGator is That Crocodile Detective Game Out Now

Brok has been released since this was written, but here are my thoughts on the demo. Do yourself a favor right now, and download the Brok the Investigator: Prologue on either Steam, Game Jolt, or ItchIO. Right now it’s in demo mode, but it is pretty massive for a story introduction. It’s a nice game to try out for a regular gaming session, twitch, or whatever. It’s a side-scrolling point-and-click cartoon adventure detective… Read the rest

I’m not really sure why they even shut it down, many people today still would like to play it. But I guess they just felt it was dated or didn’t make money, or they just didn’t want to produce content for it anymore. I don’t know, but I would love to step… Read the rest

Welcome to this fabulous new journey you’ve been initiated into in my new section dedicated to indie game development, #indiegamedev Awesome! You might remember me from articles such as Never Heard of That or Been There Done That. Okay, those aren’t real articles, and I’m not Troy McClure, but I’m going to give this my best shot. The Sims 4 is Still The Best Substitute for Reality

The Sims had a demo for Windows 98 that I found as a teenager. My sister and I both were absolutely enthralled with it. I made a Japanese shoji house with a lawn made of swimming pools and carpeted sidewalks between the rooms. I made a bachelor pad with a dance club in the attic. I made my sims drink juice and blow bubbles for days. Oh yeah, it’s The Sims! The Game,… Read the rest
