Pizza Express – Retro Pizzeria Game That Fed My Hunger
My hunger for low-res grounded pixel games lately opened me up to a stellar sale on a game called Pizza Express. Pizza Express is an indie pixel-graphic pizzeria simulator about a fast-paced solo restaurant run by animal friends Gastone the cat and Lucky the rabbit--and also you. The game is fairly simple but incorporates playful dialogue and gameplay that is quirky in the best indie-adhering ways. It is very similar to the game Good Pizza, Great Pizza, but is older and definitely a bit more grassroots. I enjoyed it very much, so I've decided to bring this review of it…
Good Pizza, Great Pizza – Wholesome Pizzeria Simulator – Review
In Fall 2020 when I was just launching the Mr. Dave Pizza concept, I played Good Pizza, Great Pizza by Tapblaze on an Android tablet, one of the many formats this game is available on. Today I played the official version released for Nintendo Switch to go back and really see what amused me about this game. Pizza, the food, has always been pretty popular, but in the last five years, it's developed a near cult status. It's kind of weird honestly, but it's spun some pretty creative and entertaining ideas. So, after so much traffic from google here by…

Collect items to rebuild your ship and head from there.
VirtuaVerse: Pixel Art Cyberpunk Game: Review
VirtuaVerse is an indie cyberpunk pixel art point and click adventure that exudes what some might think of as classic cyberpunk. You, a hacker named Nathan, wake in your apartment, which your girlfriend has changed the exit code to. Stylistically it appeals to an aesthetic of disheveled, neon glow surrounded by cybernetic paraphernalia. Solve enigmatic puzzles to progress the story.
The Pizza Situation: Indie Game Based on Social Networking
The Pizza Situation is an indie game project about a freshman college student named Roni. He has a dream about seeing a girl with pink hair at a party and her stealing a slice of pizza from him. His goal is to use social networking to solve the problem and prevent this girl in his dream from doing so in real life.
Lasagna Boy: Creepy and Interesting
HEADS UP: Moderately creepy imagery is in these games, this will be my only warning. I don't generally review horror games, but Lasanga Boy made me laugh, and then, it intrigued me. It merits analysis based on absurdity alone but also design. I also personally understand people like illustrating and drawing creepy monsters because... well, it's fun! Why not throw in a third or fourth eyeball here and there. We've been doing that for ages. Direct link to the games on Itch.IO a the bottom of this article.
Pinball Games: Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding, Ding!
Remember pinball? Not only remember it but are a “pinball wizard” as it were? Well, here we go again. Today I’m going to share a game that is available on both the Mobile and PC platforms. The game is Pinball Deluxe: Reloaded. There is also apparently some background with Blackberry devices long before that for this publisher, but I don’t know much about that. Before this post, I tried to load up an Android emulator to see if I could try the Google Play version on my Windows machine, but it didn’t really work and it was easier to just…
